Frequently Asked Questions

You'll be smoother for longer!  Hair will grow back within 2 - 8 weeks depending on individual hair growth. As the hair is being pulled out from the root, the hair growth will be finer and you won't have that stubbly feeling compared to shaving. You also avoid the risk of nicks, cuts and razor burn! An added benefit is exfoliation as the wax will also remove any dry and dead skin cells as part of the process. 

This will be down to the individual, as some may say that it is not painful where as others may find it slightly uncomfortable. Due to the process being quick, any discomfort is brief. We assure you we carry out the treatment in a professional and effective manner to reduce any discomfort and keep you comfortable throughout.  If you have any concerns, feel free to contact us. 

The treatment will be completed in a professional and discreet environment. We aim to make the experience as comfortable as possible. You will be required to remove your underwear as this allows us to complete a precise wax. Please come to your appointment fresh and clean, there will be wipes available if needed. Please wear loose underwear and clothing for comfort. 

As this is a professional treatment, any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Before your wax:

• avoid any type of hair removal for at least 3 weeks prior to your appointment
• no chemical exfoliants (AHA or BHA products) for 48 hours prior to your appointment
• no sunbathing, sunbeds or heat treatments for 24 hours prior to your appointment
• do use a body scrub or mitt to gently exfoliate the skin a few days before your appointment

During the first 24 hours after a wax:

•  wear loose clothing
•  avoid a hot showers/baths 
• no perfumed products in the waxed area
• apply sunblock on the waxed area if exposed to sunlight
• no scratching/scrubbing the area as it will be sensitive 
• no sexual activity after an intimate wax 
• no tanning (sunbathing, sunbeds or fake tans)
